Nigerian Youth Positively Driven (NYPD) Ambassador on a movement of visible Hope, D'banj, with Wande Coal and Oritsefemi visited the Mass Transit Rail from Abuja to Kaduna. The project that's near completion was is a project that has been in works for years, and the GEJ administration promised its completion before the end of his administration. The 186KM train is expected to reduce travel time between Abuja and Kaduna by 1 hour,trains can travel at 200km/h and 250km/h, each train has the capacity of 5,000 commuters. The rail will have 9 stations between Abuja and Kaduna with Cargo rails.
The Project cost about $874M, China's EXIM gave Nigeria a concessionary loan of $500M the difference was provided by the Federal Government. The Federal Executive Council in October 2014 released N1.9B for the purchase of trains. This developmental project gets spoken about quite a lot without much visual to proof it. D'banj and his colleagues visited the site for a visual tour of the project.
But wait a minute why is D'banj and Wande Coal together though.
