Buhari Ejects And Bars AIT From Covering His Events/Activities.

It is reported that President-elect was just about to commence a meeting with the Cuban and Switzerland ambassadors in Abuja when AIT staffs were ejected from the event. The president camp is saying security and family concerns necessitated the move.

Below is a statement by spokesperson of Buhari's campaign organisation, Shehu Garba

"AIT has been asked to step aside based on security and family concerns. In addition, Buhari has decided that they will have to resolve some issues relating to issues of standard and ethics. We will be talking with them to try and resolve the matter, but for now the station has been asked to stay aside because, like I said, there are some family and security concerns.
They have been asked to step down their coverage until we resolve the matter with them on ethics and standards‎. You can quote me that I said that we have asked them to step aside and that we are resolving the the issues of ethics and standards with them.”he said
What do you think of this issue, do you think Miss Dokubo-Asari is right that Buhari is a vindictive man or there are genuine security and family concerns as Buhari camp has stated. This development has generated a lot of debate online. we want your thoughts on it. However don't forget the unfair journalism AIT tailored towards Buhari during the Presidential campaign, AIT didn't hide its partisanship, PDP was their cup of tea.
