Meet The Flood-Prone Jankara Market In Lagos Island, Lagos

Lagos State is a flood-prone state, we all know that. The question we want to ask is, what's the plan of Lagos State government to address flood that's been terrorising the state. A tiny rain fall gets some part of the state flooded, this has been the case for many years. The Jankara market in Lagos Island is one of the unlucky parts of the state that gets flooded after tiny rain fall.

The market was flooded recently again after minor rain fall. Businesses were destructed and movement around  the area was near impossible. Maybe a good drainage system perhaps may help. Let's hope this will change now that Change has come. See more pictures.
