Ondo State Deputy Governor Has Been Impeached And Already Replaced.

Ali Olanusi, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, was impeached this morning, 27 April. His impeachment was approve after 22 out of 26 legislator supported his impeachment motion. If we recall that Ali Olanusi defeated to APC literally on the eve of presidential election. He has also been having issues with his boss, Gov. Olusegun Mimiko.




The motion of his impeachment was moved by Ifedayo Akinsoyinu from Ondo West 11 and seconded by Olatunji Dauro from Owo 11. The Speaker Rt Hon Jumoke Akindele also ruled that all government properties in his possession should be lawfully retrieved.

Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr Lasisi Oluboyo, has been appointed to replace impeached Ali Olanusi.
