Another Nigerian Police Officer Videotaped Negotiating Bribe


Another day another Nigerian Police bribery and corruption on display. At the computer village in Ikeja, Lagos, a police officer pulled a driver over after which he ask to see his documents. The driver provided his documents as request but without his insurance policy documents present in the car with him.

The officer who identified as Austin then ordered the poor driver to come with him to the investigation room at the Ikeja police station, a place very close to the governor's office.

At the investigation room, Austin negotiated the bribe. He initially demanded 10,000 Naira but got 4,000 eventually but not after he searched the driver's wallet to make sure he doesn't have more than he claim to have. Unknown to Austin that his victim, the driver secretly recorded the incident.

The Nigerian Police force on social media has announced that they have arrested Austin and  his prosecution case is in motion.
