Child Suffering From Cerebral Palsy Was Abandoned At The Hospital And Road Side By Her Mother And Grandmother Respectively.

A little child was abandoned at the hospital with her grandmother by her mother after she had brought her in for treatment. The child is a cerebral palsy sufferer, a condition that usually show up in child, it affects their growth, ability to speak and swallow, and gives stiff muscle.

The baby was brought to the Ifako-Ijaiye General Hospital, Lagos State by her mother and grandmother identified as Nike Owoyeni. Shortly after treatment the kid was discharged but by this time the mother had fled leaving her child and her grandmother behind.



The grandmother then went on to dump the kid next to a parked truck. She was discovered by a resident who returned the child to the hospital. It's been 7-months since her return to the hospital. So far no family member has been to the hospital to claim the child including her mother and grandmother.
