Gentle And Quality (GQ), UK Celebrates Second Anniversary With Alao Malaika In Grand Style

The London based social club, GQ, was the talk of the town in London this weekend, in the Nigerian community. And the hottest spot on Saturday night, 30 May, 2015 as they celebrate their second year anniversary in grand style in a hall at the Stadium of popular British football team, Mill Wall, in South East London. The event brought quite a lot of shakers and movers of London social scenes in one room.  The anniversary  practically changed the popular and traditional saying of painting the town red to painting the town light blue (the colour of their aso-ebi). The basket ball sized hall was filled with lovers and well wishers of the social club in the light blue aso-ebi.

Just as Ssiphouse arrived the event on Bolina Road, the gate was filled with party goers trying to secure their entry, so much that the Police had to show up a few times to ensure the stability of peace and order. Though their was no scuffle, argument or anything of such nature at the gate, well, to the best of my knowledge for the little time Ssiphouse was at the gate. The lump sum of people outside was probably the organiser's way of controlling who gets in or to ensure troublemakers are barred as the event was strictly by invite.

Popular Fuji musician, Alao Malaika thrilled fans with nice fuji music all night. His spectacular performance got people asking for more up until wee hours, a very unusual thing in London social scene. The superstar singer toppled his last year performance by digging deeper into his musical archive. Fans were thrilled with a long outstanding performance with some of his old and newest hits.
