Gov. Mimiko Thinks Yoruba People Feel Safe With OPC Than Police

At the 80th birthday party of Oodua People's Congress (A Yoruba Nationalist Organisation) founder, Chief Fredrick Fasheun, Gov. Segun Mimiko of Ondo State said Yoruba people feel more secure with OPC policing than the Police.

"You founded OPC, today, I tell you in Yoruba land that many Yoruba people will feel secure with OPC guarding their streets than the conventional police. One thing is clear and I have always said this that OPC is about protection of Yoruba people, because Yoruba people hate injustice” he said.

Is the Gov serious or is just patronising OPC.
