LASTMA Is Planning To Start Arresrting Traffic Offenders In Their Homes

Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) is making plans that will surprise. As part of their commitment to bring sanity on Lagos roads, the agency will soon commence the arrest of traffic offenders in their home.

This looks like a good plan but then does the state have adequate information of car owners. Can they establish they have the correct addresses, this might be an hindrance to the plan if you ask me. Nigerian Police can't even authenticate your claim of owning a driving licence.

According to Punch Report....

Whenu assured Lagos residents that a more effective traffic management and documentation procedure was being put in place, where traffic offenders were booked and given a grace period for payment and defaulters apprehended at home through the information on the motor vehicle database
