Pres. Buhari Approves N70M For Independence Celebration Reluctantly

According to the office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Pres. Buhari reluctantly signed N70M for the celebration of Nigeria independence on October 1. The President wasn't keen on spending money on frivolous activities, he stressed that it would be better to spend money on civil servant salaries arrears.

I guess this celebration is inevitable though it will be low key according to the address by the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
