Gov. Obiano Visits Onitsha Mosque Attacked On Wednesday By Pro-Biafra Protesters (Photos)
A raid in the early hours of Wednesday by the Joint Task Force on a group of protesters who had blocked the Onitsha bridge in protest against the detention of Nnamdi Kanu, turned fatal as at least nine people were killed. In response, the protesters attacked vehicles belonging to the Dangote Group and also attacked a mosque in Onitsha.
The Anambra state governor initially responded to the escalating situation with this statement, and then today, he visited the attacked mosque.
Obiano also toured the Bridge Head and Nkpor to have a look at the amount of damage done by the protesters.
