PHOTOS: Five Political Party Threatens to Pull Out Of Election Should INEC Proceed With Card Reader.



 Progressive Peoples Party (MPPP), Peoples Party of Nigeria,(PPN),  Alliance for Democracy (AD), Advanced Congress of Democrats (ACD) and Social Democratic Mega Party (MEGA) through their respective party leaders has threaten to boycott the national elections should INEC proceed with the proposed card reader for the election Presidential and Gubernatorial  on March 28 and April 11 respectively. The parties fear the card reader approach is fairly new that it can destruct the conduction of free, fair and credible election should it develop fault on election days,  it could disfranchise 40- 50% electorate. They fear the card hasn't been tested in a mock election to proof it effectiveness. They urge INEC chairman, Prof, Jega to discontinue the proposed card reader.

However the Nigerian Senate has Okay card reader, they expresses confidence in it after Prof Jega was called to defence the commission the proposed card reader. INEC is also promising mock election before the set election dates.
