Franck Ribéry Wants Bayern To Sign Chelsea, Eden Hazard When He Leaves.

Franck Ribery has dismissed reports linking Bayern Munich with a move for Wolfsburg forward Kevin de Bruyne - but is keen on the Bundesliga club signing Eden Hazard from Chelsea.

The 31-year-old was asked about who he would like to replace him at the Allianz Arena when he eventually leaves the German giants.

Reports have linked Bayern with former Blues star de Bruyne but Ribery doesn't believe he would be a worthwhile addition.

"He is not a player who takes the ball and dribbles forward and likes to have the opponents in front of him," he told Sport Bild.

"De Bruyne is great, when he fits the counterattack. At Bayern, however, you usually only have three or four metres in front of you, not a lot of room. But he is a good player and he is still young, so he can still learn."

Should Bayern be in the market for a young forward, with both the former France international and Arjen Robben growing older, Ribery says they should target Hazard.

"He attacks all of the time. He loves to run at his opponent," he said. "But he plays at Chelsea - this could be very expensive for Bayern."

Jose Mourinho's men are top of the Premier League table and look likely to lift the title after winning the Capital One Cup earlier in the season.
