Chocolat Royal on 274A Etim Inyang Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos was sealed up by members of the National Agency For Food And Drug Administration And Control, NAFDAC, for offences unknown to many. Well, I dug deeper to know why the patisserie and chocolaterie business was sealed, and I can tell you confidently that it is because of expired products.
Chocolate Royal has been selling expired products to it's customers for a long time and on a massive scale. They ignored the damages it might do to their customers's health, I guess profit was more important to the Lebanese business than playing by the law and treating their customers fairly.
Let's hope this is dealt with appropriately by NAFDAC.
