112 Is The Number To Dial In Lagos To Report Rape And Domestic Crime.

Lagos State government in his bid to tackle sexual related crimes like rape and domestic violence have provided the state residence with a free number to call 112.

The state intend to make it possible for victim of gender-related crime to have easy access to the appropriate authority to report the crime committed against them, and utmost confidentiality of their contacts or reports can be guaranteed according to Lagos State government.

Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team has just concluded a training of 190 officials of the state Emergency Command And Control Centre on how to deal with reports of sexual and gender-based violence incidents in the state.
