CARPHONE WAREHOUSE SCAM: Two Men Facing Jail After Using False Details To Sign-Up 190 Phone Contracts

ABBEY WOOD, BATTERSEA, SOUTH LONDON Two conmen who duped phone company, Carphone Warehouse out of more than £36,000 by signing up for phone contracts under false names are facing jail today (Tues). Andrew Adu-Addai, 28, and Thomas Koroma, 27, used bogus details to sign up for 190 phone contracts and Pay-As-You-Go SIM cards during the eight-month long scam last year. They handed false names and details to staff when applying for 24-month-long contracts, knowing they would not pay the bills and pocket the expensive handsets. With Pay-As-You-Go SIMs, the pair again gave bogus details and trousered cash-back incentives offered by the mobile phone firm.
