In the last quarter of 2014, the Home Office, for the first time released the UK's foreign nationals crime index . Nigeria is second on the list with 0.78% of 106,000 of its nationals are convicted of various offences ranging from serious crimes to misdemeanour. A further break down of the crimes though revealed that Nigeria Nationals in the UK are mostly jailed for fraudulent related offences.
