Four suspected drugmule have excreted 171 wraps of cocaine after being placed under observation by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The suspects are Ejiofor Eliezer (46), Obah Francis, 30 , Akpa Sobuzochukwu 27, and 36-year-old Ike Okechukwu 36, according to NDLEA, were detained at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos after failed attempt to smuggle the drug to Brazil.
Eliezer being the one with the highest excrete attribute his behaviour to the poverty he faces in his life with his wife and four children. He claims to live in Brazil where life is very tough for him, he works in a supermarket and feed from hand to mouth. I swallowed the cocaine to get paid 200,000 because of poverty, he said.
