During an interview at a promotional event in Japan Ronaldo found himself being questioned by a young Japanese boy who was attempting to speak to the star in Portuguese.
The boy's Portuguese is stuttered and unsurprisingly not up to scratch, which is met by the sound of giggles from around the room.
At this point Ronaldo becomes visibly irked by the behaviour of the crowd and turns to his translator to say.
"Why they smile? He speaks good Portuguese! They should be happy, because he tries very hard!"
The atmosphere in the room quickly changes to a light applause for the boy's attempt following a short and sharp telling off from the Real Madrid talisman.
