Aliko Dangote in 2010 attempted to buy Arsenal but failed. This time the African's richest man has resuscitated the dream during an interview with Bloomberg. He hinted his alive interest in the London based club. Arsenal is worth close to £1Billion now, a gwap (money) I think Dangote can lay his hands on, but the question is will politics let the deal go through? Read what he said.
“I still hope, one day at the right price, that I’ll buy the team,” .
“I might buy it, not at a ridiculous price but a price that the owners won’t want to resist. I know my strategy.”
