A Ghanaian Is On Twitter Criticising Buhari's Outfit To G7 Summit in Germany

This lad is very funny I must say. I don't know why it's wrong for an African man to be out and about in his African clothing. Suit is western, that's not who we are primarily. There is nothing wrong in being who you are and projecting it. Am sure out of all the 7 Billion people living on this planet, this bloke is the only person to have problem with President Buhari choice of fashion to the G7 Summit.

Identity is a very strong part of your being, and it's important you hold one and never let it go. Funny enough this bloke himself can be seen on twitter street posing in traditional clothing. It's safe to say his conclusion is exclusively ignorant.

More pictures of world leaders in traditional wears after the cut.

Kwame Inkruma, the first president of Ghana, 1960-1966, arriving the white house in a full traditional wear. Am sure everyone that's in the white house will be in suit. Inkruma could have opt for a suit but he didn't. Do you know why? because he's a man of true value. Again this is projection of culture or identity.

World leaders in Chinese traditional attire during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Beijing, 2014. Again this is projection of culture or identity.
