Dual citizen, Nigeria and Lebanon, Yve Awad, 23 was caught with 260 grammes of cocaine during the outbound security screening at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. He has been arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and soon to be charged to court for possession of cocaine with intend to export.
Awad was born and bred in Lagos. He did all his schooling in Lagos apart from his higher education which he did in Lebanon, where claims to have met his friend that gives him money to help him buy cocaine to bring over to Lebanon. According to operatives he has travelled to Lebanon 15 times between January and now.
