Woman Faces Jail After Lying That A Man Raped Her Because He Was Late To Pick Her By 45minutes

Comfort Yinusa, 23, of Essex, England, lied in October, 2013 that one accountant raped her as his friend watch on, and that he later sexually assaulted her too. Miss Yinusa, an underground worker was kept waiting in the street by an accountant that could not be named for legal reasons for 45 minutes. The pair met at a night club on the same day of the suppose rape, he agreed to give her a lift from the club to Stratford in East London.

He was late to get back to her because he wasn't sure where he parked his car, according to DailyMail, CCTV attest to it that he was wandering the cities for a bit. Miss Yinusa stormed off after the accountant showed up 45 minutes late. She proceeded to call her then boyfriend, Kenneth Umezie, to pick her up, upon his arrival she told him that she had been raped by a guy in his car and his friend sexually assaulted her too, she called 999 to report her false crime.

The two men were arrested but were released 14 hours later after Police had taken intimate samples from them. They had to give their clothing too for closer examination.

Five weeks investigation by Police revealed Miss Yinusa was lying about the 2013 incident. Police went through phone communications and CCTV cameras in addition to forensic results to arrive to their conclusion, but Miss Yinusa stuck to her story. However, she has admitted to be lying in court after nearly 2 years in court. She's due to be sentenced in the near future.
