Former Barcelona player Xavi Hernandez thinks Real Madrid handled the departure of Iker Casillas in a lame he. He believes the goalkeeper didn't get the audience and attention he rightfully deserve from the club after serving them diligently for years. Xavi himself plans

“To me, his departure from Real Madrid stinks. It’s a pity. It seems lame,” Xavi wrote in an open letter published in the Catalan newspaper La Vanguardia. 

“How can you not appreciate Iker?” Xavi added. “For me he is the most decisive goalkeeper in history.”
