CNN Surprised "Straight Outta Compton" Didn’t Cause Violence, Earned Record Money Instead!

Straight Outta Compton is a movie about the life of legendary 1980s Hip-Hop group from Compton, California, with a backdrop of the L.A gang life. The group had Dr. Dre, Eazy E, Ice Cube and more.

The première of the movie was projected to cause violence at the cinemas but instead it went on to earn box office record of $56 Million. It doubled it's projected opening figure and is the second highest grossing movie in its opening week.

CNN however is surprise that the movie earned record money instead of violence. Watch the video after the cut.
