Mark Zuckerberg Pledge To Give Away 99% Of His Facebook Shares That Currently Worth $45Billion

Mr Zuckerberg made the announcement in a letter to Max on his Facebook page that him and his wife Priscilla will be donating 99% of their facebook shares to a good cause. The reason behind this extremely generous gesture is that they want to make the world a better place for their daughter to grow up in. 

According to Mark Zuckerberg the donation currently amounts to $45bn (£30bn).

Their daughter Max was born last week but the couple only announce her birth yesterday, Tuesday 01 December 2015.
