We Will Soon Expose Goodluck Jonathan's Loot After They Have Been Recovered - Presidency

Nigeria President | Muhammadu Buhari
Is been about 30 days since the Inauguration of President Buhari. The national secretary of opposition party, PDP, Olisa Metuh did analysis of Buhari's performance so far, and he kinda indirectly described him as failure. He further asked Nigerians to pray for the President. His analysis was inspired by the presidency's accusation of his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan's mismanagement of the national treasury.

The Presidency didn't view Mr Muteh's rhetorical statement funny at all. Special Adviser on media and publicity to the president, Mr Femi Adesina said the following in a statement.
“This must be deja vu, as it was the pastime of the immediate past administration, and the enormity of the sleaze will be evident when stolen money, to the tune of billions of dollars, is recovered, and returned to the national treasury soon.

Stop Calling Jonathan A Hero, He's Not One. - Singer Adokiye

The unprecedented and historical phone call of Goodluck Jonathan to President Buhari to concede to defeat was themed heroic by many including me. But virgin and singer Adokiye doesn't not think so, she had this to say....
“I feel really bad for the Nigerians calling President Jonathan a hero. Hero to who please?” she asked disdainfully. “ Why waste your saliva & brain on someone who has brought poverty, national blackout, danger, unemployment, terror & insecurity to our dear nation” she said.
I see her as politically unaware. That phone call alone single handedly ended all building anger around the country especially from the South South. The international community has never been so positive and confident about a break-up and civil unrest for Nigeria during the election. Even Central Intelligence Agencies, CIA was adamant Nigeria would break up by 2015 for reasons bordering around the Presidential election, even though they later said they didn't predict our break up.

Does she think what's happening in Burundi was beyond Nigeria, pre-election? Nigeria could have been Burundi right now or even far worse. Though I understand her reasons for her conclusion, they are true. But then being a failure as a President and rescuing the nation from mayhem by demonstrating genuine statesmanship spirit in the time of need like he did with the phone call is just immaculate, is unprecedented in Africa. That's why he got a standing ovation internationally, maybe this little words will enlighten her.

President Jonathan Hands Over Main Report Of National Conference To President-elect Muhammadu Buhari

President Goodluck Jonathan and President-elect Buhari
President Jonathan has done great with the National Conference, and according to his manifesto he had plans to implement some of it. His intention to implement it was why a faction of Odua People's Congress led by Gani Adams supported him, and the Governor Of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko.
APC however has not shown any sign to implement any of the conference's recommendations. The last I heard Lai Mohammed, APC National Publicity Secretary say was that the party will study the report very close. Which is a nice way of saying we don't care about the national conference.

The Publication Of A PwC Audit Into The “missing billions” Brings Us A Step Closer To It - Sanusi Lamido Sanusi

Former Governor of Central Bank Of Nigeria, now Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi of Kano reaffirms that NNPC didn't remit billions of USD in oil revenue. Stating that even though he's suspended from office, the truth can't be suspended.
Just over a year ago President Goodluck Jonathan suspended me from my position as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria after I questioned an estimated $20bn shortfall in oil revenues due to the treasury from the state oil company. As I said then, you can suspend a man, but you cannot suspend the truth. The publication last month of a PwC audit into the “missing billions” brings us a step closer to it.
