Meet Sen. Mike Sonko, a popular socialite and politician from Mombasa, Kenya. He use to be a known drug lord that one time jailbreak. He's very generous and his generosity helped his Senatorial bid in 2010, he got elected to represent Makadara Constituency, Kenya. One time he was kicked out of parliament because of his style of dressing that's closely related to that of hip/hop community.
When ask by the parliament speaker why he dresses the way he does he replied "Because I represent the youth" The house debated his dressing style for a bit, other MP condemned him and concluded to kick him out of the parliament for that session.
In the past he has been in loggerhead with a Governor and a lot of other high profile politicians. He basically lives like a Drug kingpin, he moves around with heavy security, he rocks gold chains and rings all the time. He gives his donations to social clubs in CASH, Al Pacino style. This is a one of its kind Senator on planet earth. We just can help but laugh at his legit lifestyle as a politician whereas he should be depicting something else, Godfather maybe.
