He posted the picture to have a dig at an opponent football team, al-Ittihad, the young girl had the team's jersey on, he caption the picture with "Look at where al-Ittihad is, in the bin," The snapchat imaged sparked uproar online which has led to the removal of the image on snapchat.
The young man quickly realise his mistake, he returned to find the little girl and gave her gifts, he also apologised in a Youtube video. The incident has generated a campaign online to find the girl, tagged "search for Jeddah child" and it has attracted over 200,000 mention and still counting. They have been few pledges to donate some money to her. One of the pledges is from a al-Ittihad FC fan pledging about $16,000 and Saudi racing car driver Yazeed al-Rajhi also made pledges - $100,000 in total. See more picture.....
