Bukola Saraki Vs Bola Tinubu Political Comparison

I read an article on Nairaland that drew comparism between Senate President Bukola Saraki and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Being a pro-pdp commentator and a campaigner for Saraki's Senate Presidency, some may expect me to naturally be on the side of the Saraki. But this will not be so because I can't live in self deception.

Yes, Bola Tinubu was a Senator, two term Governor of Lagos state and political godfather of the state. Saraki on the other hand is the incumbent SP, a two term Governor of Kwara state and the political godfather of the state. However, there are more to this.

Senator Bola Tinubu
For those that aren't aware, Bola Tinubu rise to power as Lagos state governor in 1999 was associated with his 1993 democratic struggle against IBB first and later Sani Abacha. The AD 1999 contest was direct struggle between the favored late engineer Funso Williams and the political activist Bola Tinubu. Tinubu as at then had little political structure but somehow beat the late engineer to the AD ticket. In 2003 he somehow outsmarted some Afenifere leaders of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) and got re-elected, all other five AD

The Letter President Buhari Wrote To NASS Clerk Surfaces Online

The emergence of Sen. Bukola Saraki as the senate president is causing a lot of uproar in Nigeria political landscape especially in the APC realm. There have been split opinion about the commencement of the Senate Presidential election with about 51 Senators missing. Some described it as assassination of democratic processes and some think otherwise. And we've saw few names calling. Saraki called V.President Yemi Osinbajo a commission in response to an invite to a meeting to address the ongoing brouhaha rocking APC. Tinubu on the other hand called Sen. Saraki a kangaroo president that he will never recognise, and oh before I forget his wife, Sen. Remi Tinubu, refused to handshake Sen. Saraki during their swearing in. Things are looking a bit interesting, don't you think.

I laugh in Peru at those that said is unconstitutional, ha ha. The missing Senators were elsewhere when they were suppose to be at work. The proceeding was constitutional. As stipulated by the constitution the President has to call the shot on the proceedings which he did with the letter above because he couldn't be there.

As per the emergence of Sen. Saraki as Senate president against the will of his party, APC, is another problem that should be dealt with within the party. The constitution has not been violated in anyway so far, it's APC that needs to call his house to other. If this crisis is not strategically or properly managed, APC might not be able to deliver all her promises. Welcome to CHANGE!

I will Not Recognise Sen. Bukola Saraki As Senate President - Bola Tinubu

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has responded to the emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki as President of the Senate.

Tinubu, while speaking on the development at the national secretariat of the party on Tuesday in Abuja, said, “I will never recognise such a kangaroo arrangement that produced Bukola as the Senate President. “Or how do you want me to recognise a man who deliberately defied his own party because of his personal interest? It is not done anywhere.

“Therefore, recognising Bukola as the Senate President after all he had done to our party today, having gone against the wish and pattern of our great party, honestly will amount to endorsing impunity, and which you should all know I will not ”,Tinubu said.

These old men with their cat fights. Chief Bode George recently claim that Tinubu apologised to him that their rift is over. Click here if you missed the story.

Tinubu's media office has release a statement debunking the claim to be fantasy that Ifa Eko never apologised to the PDP Chieftain, Chief Bode George. Tinubu claims not to have wrong Chief George, what would he apologise for. We don't know who to believe, but the Yorubas usually say "Elderly people do not tell lies" but someone is lying between these two Yoruba agbalagba (elderly person)

Bola Tinubu Is My Role Model - PDP, Buruji Kashamu

Buruji Kashamu, chairman of the Organisation and Mobilisation Committee of the PDP in the South-West, is one guy you just can't hate or love,  he's an amusing guy. The homey wrote an open letter to Bola Tinubu describing the APC chieftain as his role model. Biko, when did Bola Tinubu become his role model, from where to where. Kashamu in the South West is one the most vocal PDP Chieftain against APC.  We don't need to scratch our head too much, we all know why he's famzing Jagaban. Victory is the best revenge my people. Federal Level things!!

Buruji doesn't have an ounce of a leader in him unlike President Goodluck Jonathan, a hero.
Read the below excerpt from his letter.
“I hope that in spite of our membership of different political platforms, we would be able to collaborate for the upliftment of Yorubaland in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
“My sincere prayer is for the Almighty Allah to keep you and give you good health and long life to be able to see the Nigeria of your dream. For me, I join other Nigerians in wishing you the best, even as we aspire and pray Almighty Allah to make us – the younger ones – be like you, the Jagaban of Borgu.”

Bola Tinubu Is Mad That APC Lost Five House Of Reps Seats To PDP.

APC party leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu is mad that the party leaders for losing 5 House of rep seats to PDP. During an emergency stakeholder and strategic meeting for the April 11 gubernatorial meeting, he expresses his disappointment and frustration in the party leaders.

Ifa Eko you need to take a chill pill, the people have spoken, don't cry about it. The people spoke in your favour at the Federal anyway.  According to Tinubu..

“You, the party leaders have disappointed us. For the first time, we lost five House of Representatives seats to the opposition party, this is unacceptable, a huge disappointment.Though in politics you win some you loose some You have failed. So
there is no excuse to fail this time.
“Also you did not come out in large number, were you afraid.? You have no cause to be
afraid as adequate security is on ground to protect you and your property. So don’t be intimidated by their sporadic shooting of guns meant to scare you away from doing your civic right. The Hausa communities had a very good and encouraging turn-out, we expect better performance this time.”

Chief Bode George in a chat with Vanguard projected that he's serious about going on exile. He lament that all his effort to restructure the country's polity has been lost. The PDP chieftain isn't happy about the people around Buhari too, that's basically his problem from the way he speaks. Check out his words below.

Speaking with Vanguard, on the PDP’s defeat at the polls, the PDP chieftain said
“What will I be doing here? I can decide to go and live anywhere. Look at everyone surrounding him (Buhari).

”So, I am not joking about it, what will I be doing here? At 70, what will I be doing here? All we have been doing to restructure the country has been lost. We have been trying to ensure balance in the polity but all that has gone. What else will I be doing here?”

A watch that only one British rapper own, and that's Tinie Tempah. He said the watch cost him arm and leg, that tells you how much hit his bank account took when he purchased it.
