Nigerians Flees The Country Prior To The Violence Prone Presidential Election.

We have seen elections come and go around the world. Some were successful because is free fair and credible, and some not so much.  Even as we speak the UK is gearing up for her national elections so as  Nigeria.  But why are there so much eyes on Nigeria elections especially the presidential election slated for 28th March. The U.S secretary of State, John Kerry has visited Nigeria and got Abuja peace accord out of the two Major presidential candidates. UN officials visited to stress the importance of peaceful election, and Obama recently sent us a message. Is our election violent prone because we have an ex general who is believed to prosecute anybody that's anybody if he wins or the incumbent who wants another term by any means necessary in order to cover its atrocities and corrupt practises.

Despite all of effort to install some sense of security into the people of Nigeria it has failed wholly. Provided the picture of Murtala Muhammed InternationalAirport making its way around social media is true, Nigerians are disenfranchising themselves by trooping out of the country in mouth watering numbers prior into the Saturday election so as to escape any form of violent that may erupt. Election should not be viewed as the possible inception of a civil war or violent prone. This is a sad time for our nation, very sad.
