An APC Serving and Senator-elect is Dead

Borno State just lost a senator. Senator Khalifa Ahmed Zanna is a serving senator that also got re-elected on the APC platform. He passed shortly after his return from a medical trip to Germany. He's 59, and died at his home in Abuja

It looks like they will be a by-election in Borno State. May His Soul Rest In Peace.

214 Of The Rescued Girls Were Visibly Pregnant.

From the additional 234 of the rescued girls  from the den of Boko Haram in Sambisa forest, 214 of them are noticeably pregnant, according to an unofficial figure. Click here if you missed the initial story.

The Executive director of United Nation Population Fund, UNFPA Prof. Babatunde Osotimehin disclosed that the organisation has taken deliveries of about 16,000 pregnancies in the troubled North East.

Terrorist Supplier Of Food And Fuel Is Nabbed

Defence Headquarters announce another success yesterday. Terrorist food and fuel supplier was nabbed in Daban Shata, Baga, Borno State.

And in another development in Adamawa State, 260 women and children were set free from Chalawa village from where they were held by terrorist after they made an escape attempt.

 The Nigerian Army announces and is jubilates over it successful take over of Gwoza from the deadly terrorist group, Boko Haram. The Defence Headquarters' twitter handle broke the new this morning on the eve of Nigeria Presidential election. The news hasn't been independently verified. We Congratulate and thank the gallant army that put in everything they had to claim back our Gwoza. This is a giant step towards defeating and eradicating the sect that's been terrorising the North Eastern Nigeria for few years now, many lives have been lost as a result of their activities.
