Wizkid And HipTV Beef At Tuface Fortyfied Birthday Concert

If you have been paying close attention you will know that Wizkid and Hip TV are on bad term. The beef is rift so much that HipTV refused to televise Wizkid's performance at Tuface Fortyfied birthday concert last night, Sunday, 20 September 2015. Viewers at home were not able to see the Ojuelegba crooner perform as his bit was cut off by HipTv.

Wind of things go to Wizkid, and he slyly addressed the situation but fans didn't go side ways, they went all out for HipTV's neck on the gram. 

Wizkid Flies On A Private Jet To South Africa

Big men do big things and not in terms of size I mean, because the big man in this case is pint sized. Wizkid along side Phyno flew to Durban, South Africa in a private jet to attend the MAMA Awards. He could be seen with Phyno rocking red bottoms aboard the private jet. Keep pumping Wiz Boy.

Wizkid Publicly Embarrass His Girlfriend, Tania Omotayo!

It was Wizkid's birthday yesterday. He tweeted that he's 25 and single, but later deleted the message and claim he was hacked. People don't believe him for one bit.

His publicly known girlfriend, Tania Omotayo, posted a picture (above) on instagram and said...

"Happy Birthday to my Baby Boy!!!! Love you beyond words!!! ❤️❤️❤️ We've really been through 18- 25 sha "

Wizkid's tweet came as an embarrassment as people are saying their relationship might be on the rock even though Tania instagram post suggested otherwise, or the tweet is his way of breaking up with her. 

Drake And Skepta Remixes Ojuelegba By Wizkid. Yaga!!!

Few days ago Drake quoted “Thanking God for a life I can’t explain” a line off Ojuelegba, on social media. We later found out that it was Skepta (He's a Nigerian born British grime rapper) that introduced Drake to the song. Nobody took the hint that a remix of Ojuelegba is on the way.

First I am not a Wizkid fan but hey this is Notorious B.I.G big. This is a big achievement for Wizkid..so am extremely excited for him. Drake is a mega super star that would have charge Wizkid arm and leg if he had approach him for a remix. That's if he agree to do it.

Looking at the way this remix play out, I'm sure Wizkid didn't pay a dime. Drake just did it because he could relate to the song  as he has proved with his quote and possibly because of Skepta.

Wizkid Joins May D As He Too Gets A Recognition Award From Cyprus International University

Cyprus International University blessed Wizkid Ayo with an award. The Ojuelegba singer is slated to perform in Cyprus today, and upon his arrival the university presented him with an award for his contribution to Afro-music and his efforts to take the music beyond Nigeria shores. He has join the likes of May D in that league. May D got an award too in 2012 from an educational institution in Cyprus.

He's is delighted and appreciative of the award according to his instagram caption. The father of one took some time out to also thank the students that waited for his arrival at the airport.

It looks like someone is excited about Abami Eda's legacy and wanted to do something to remind himself of the great saxophonist. Wizkid within himself may be appreciative of Fela and got a tattoo of the late Kalakuta Republic leader, oh well. And another one of a lion face, interesting.

Wizkid's new manager is Sunday Are, a veteran in the game, he's has work with who's who in the game. The star boy Boss since leaving EME he's been through two or three managers in Africa. Though his management team in London remain the same, Disturbing London, a management company co-owned by Nigeria-British Rapper, Tinie Tempah and his childhood friend. He's still listed on the company's website.

We all know Skales from when he got signed to EME and the  music drought he had over there, not one hit single to his name except if you want to consider his 2011 single, Mukulu, a hit. The shake body crooner has been in the game for quite a while now through thick and thin he always had his head up. We have to be honest when EME dropped him from the label we wasn't surprise, we saw it coming, he wasn't making them any money whereas his colleague,  Wizkid, has blown through the roof.  After EME he have since move on and doing well, he has hits records now and drives a Ford Jeep.

Its his Birthday today and the rapper/singer took to instagram to share his gratitude to and how he's better off financially now with lot of side attractions. We are very happy for him because he's a hard-worker, and he deserve it. Happy Birthday Boy! See his instagram caption

I have Made Investments That Will Compete With Davido And Wizkid - African China

African China

African China in an interview with Vanguard Nigeria claims to be the Fela of our time. He further said he didn't make what musicians makes now but he has made investments that will compete with Davido and Wizkid of today money wise. Too much money, China man. lol. 

But calm-down geezer, is cool to compare yourself to great people, we are not just sure if you measure-up with Fela by any ramification.  Though you killed it with your music in early more than a decade ago, you got us dancing, we appreciated the new music, but in Fela's category we are not quite sure. With the rate of upcoming artistes and so many known names in the industry, do you think your kind of music will stand the test of time in Nigeria?
You should ask yourself and tell yourself the truth. My songs has lasted 17years now; which of these songs do you think will last two years? I'm not scared of the huge number of artistes out there, because I know what I've got and will give my best to my fans.It is not as if I'm boasting but I have dedicated so much of my time and energy to it because I have already set a standard and that standard will not drop but will continue to rise because I am born to sing and entertain people. That's why I am "African China" the legendary, take it or leave, I am the Fela of our time.

Will you say you've made the kind of money the likes of WizKid and Davido are making these days?

No, I did not collect the kind of money they are collecting now. But I think you should know something, we pushed the bill from 30 thousand naira to 8 hundred / one million. I made investments that can compete with whatever they do with their money. Therefore, I don't regret not making what they are making these days.
